Engaging and Motivating Students
Both as a learner and an educator, I have learned that meaningful, relevant, and engaging contexts are the key to students' motivation to learn. Without an intrinsic motivation for learning, students will lose interest in educational pursuits and may not develop many of the 21st-Century skills they need to succeed in college and beyond. It is crucial for teachers to incorporate 21st Century skills such as critical thinking, analyzing, applying, and creating.
